Lew Koppitch gave me an announcement published in the September 25th addition of the Oscoda Press. The Save our Shoreline organization has scheduled an informational meeting to be held on Saturday, October 5, 2002 in the Oscoda High School Auditorium. They plan on discussing the vegetation on beaches and risks to publich health among other things. If you are planning on attending please let me know and send me your notes for publication here.

Rick sent me a note reporting that the parking lot has been resurfaced and everything is looking fine!

Got a report from Jerry Gossett: -- He said that the parking lot will be sealed next week. He also called the septic cleaner people and they will schedule us in very soon but it will cost slightly more. Last time they charged .06 per gallon and now they will charge .08 cents per gallon. We have about 10,000 gallons -- now that's a lot of crap =:-)

We had another successful Annual Meeting on Saturday with twenty-two owners present. Reviews of all of our maintenance projects were given and the state of our finances was discussed. Our election for three board positions was conducted and the winners were: Bob Adams, Jay Wendt and Sal Mariani.

More on all of this soon when I post the full minutes to this meeting.
