From the December 20, 2002 Oscoda Press:

The Oscoda Press Three lanes of traffic through downtown Oscoda will become a reality this spring when the Michigan Department of Transportation changes the current four-lane configuration to help improve traffic flow.

The modification will extend the center turn lane on US-23 from the intersection of Mill Street to connect with the center turn lane at the intersection of Pack Avenue.

At our last annual meeting we covered the budget and talked about the single greatest line item on it (our insurance). Kirk received a bill for our Auto-Owners Insurance this past week. It states that our new 2003 policy will cost us $14,456.87. This year it cost us $10,071.36 and in 2001 it cost us $7,893.43. This repesents a 44% increase over 2002.
That is quite an increase!!
