A building has been constructed on the property that was previously "Three Wishes". According to personal sources, the building will be occupied by a title company, that should bring the tourists. Some thought, or hoped, that it would become a restaurant with a pocket park along the side of it. The park may still be coming, but a restaurant? No.
Also, for those of you who are part time residence, Charter Cable Company is offering a seasonal rate on your cable. I was told by people that have signed up for it that you must swith to the "extended cable program" which consists of apx. 70 stations. You will be paying $9.60 per month from October through March and then apx. $42.00 per month from April through September. That averages out to about $25.00 or $26.00 per month for a year. To sign up for this you must go in, on a week day, and show them your drivers license to prove that you don't reside in Oscoda.
