Our annual meeting date is fast approaching. This years meeting will be held over the Labor Day weekend and, like last year, will be held indoors. We are tentatively planning the meeting to be held at the Oscoda Yacht Club either Saturday or Sunday of Labor Day Weekend. More details will be posted as the plans are finalized.

Found the Charter Township of AuSable web site today. I will add it to the links section on the right. Check there now for links to the chamber of commerce sites for both Oscoda and Tawas City. Also note that I have added a link to the online version of the Oscoda Press.

Treescape Nursery came out to give us a quote for spraying our trees. They told Dean that Michigan passed some legislation to stop the spraying of trees unless there is visible signs of disease. He inspected our trees and said they look healthy.

The following sections are now back: Master Deed and By-Laws, Owner Information, and the new combined area called the Vault (contents are the various board minutes, annual meeting minutes, and photograph gallery). This completes, for now, the left side content.

The new site is taking sharp now. The Master Deed has been converted and the search box on the home page now both work!! Try out the search -- type in something like "pets" for instance and see all the references throughout our site containing that term.

The basic components of the new front page are now in place. The front page will consist of a three column newsletter format. The left most column will contain links to pages within such as the master deed, board minutes, etc. The right most column will contain other information such as links off-site.

The search is over -- sandsII.tripod.com is the new location for our homepage. More updates to follow. Watch over the next few weeks as the site takes shape.

This is the beginning of the site redesign as a result of the move from NBCi. In addition to the redesign of the site, this weblog will be used to communicate local news, area news and events, and association updates on a somewhat frequent basis.
